What to Expect at STRIDE
FIRST CLASS FREE
Experience our treadmill-based interval training workout, combining cardio and strength training. Our HIIT classes are led by our certified STRIDE Fitness Coaches, set to upbeat music, and in a group setting. Check out this video to prepare for your first class free!

STRIDE Fitness 101

  • What Should I Bring? 

    Come prepared to class with a re-fillable water bottle and your favorite running shoes - we've got everything else you need including towels, weights, resistance bands, and more!

  • When should I arrive? 

    Please arrive at the studio 30 minutes before your class, so we can give you a tour of the studio, show you our Woodway Treadmills, introduce you to your Coach, and get you set-up with a heart rate monitor.

  • Do I have to run the whole time? 

    Nope! The unique aspect of our programming is that every client can choose to walk or run each interval, and we have a leveling system that allows you to move at your own pace.

  • DO I HAVE TO WEAR A HEART RATE MONITOR?

    While they are optional, we highly recommend purchasing and wearing a STRIDE heart rate monitor. It is the best way to track your goals and celebrate your milestones!

HOW DO I GET STARTED?
Go to our Studios page to find your nearest studio. Select the Book Your First Class Offer to take your first class with us!
DO I NEED TO SIGN ANYTHING BEFORE I START?
Before your first run, you need to sign a waiver. If you are under 18, you need one signed by a parent IN-PERSON. Please arrive at the studio 30 minutes before your run, so we can give you a tour of the studio, introduce you to your Coach, set you up with a heart rate monitor, and show you how to work our treadmills.
I AM BRAND NEW TO STRIDE Fitness. WHICH CLASS SHOULD I SELECT?
Most start with either our COMBO or STRIDE class. Regardless of which class format you choose, you can modify any class at STRIDE Fitness to your own fitness level.
HOW DO I PICK MY OWN TREADMILL? CAN I WORK OUT NEXT TO A FRIEND?
When you book a class, you get to select a treadmill. Just ask your friend what tread they selected so you can work out next to them.
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO BRING AND WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
At STRIDE Fitness, we take care of everything, so all you have to do is show up, press Start, and workout. We provide complimentary towels, filtered water, lockers that have coded keypads for easy access and safe storage for all of your belongings, hair ties, and other toiletries for you to use. We suggest a tank or t-shirt and form-fitting, athletic shorts or pants. We have plenty of STRIDE Fitness apparel and water bottles for sale in the studio, too.
WHAT ABOUT MY SAFETY?
Just as you would with any new exercise, consult your doctor before starting up at STRIDE Fitness. Our classes offer a full-body workout with a cardio experience, so make sure you listen to your body during your class. Your STRIDE Certified Coach ™ will help you reach your personal best, but your safety comes first. If at any time during or after a class you feel unusual symptoms, please notify us and/or seek medical attention.
